Since its inception, the focus of the ministry has been evangelism and deliverance. Evangelism Today Christian Center is an urban ministry that has discovered critical key components that lead to building trust with local residents and key stakeholders of an inner-city context. This is a ministry that fully embraces Jesus' commandment: "Go ye into the highways and by-ways and compel them to come in." We don't wait for congregants to come to church - we go out to get them!
The church has ministries across key societal domains that seeks to meet needs in people's lives.
NEW JERSEY STATE APPROVED CAREER SCHOOL
In addition to launching a community food panty the church made application New Jersey Department of Labor and Department of Education to open and operate a private career school; which was approved the following year. The school is a Cisco Networking Academy Support and Instructor Training Center (only one in NJ). We on board and support new academies then help them to successfully implement the academy program - especially in urban communities. The academy is a comprehensive e-learning program for schools (traditional and nontraditional), colleges and universities that offer programs to build Internet skills which are critical in a global economy.
